I know this is primarily a thread about sublingual administration, but has anyone ever tried administering it buccally? In theory, the rate of absorption shouldn't be much lower, and I personally have a lot less issues with saliva with buccal administration. Generally I go for between my bottom lip and bottom gums so it doesn't seep out, but I imagine you could pack a large quantity against your lower gums elsewhere without issues.
With melatonin (which has a hideously slow absorption rate in general for me) I notice almost no difference between buccal and sublingual administration, except for the noticeable lack of saliva production with buccal use.
All the best.
