am I the only one that noticed quite a few mistakes, lacks or weird affirmations in Raetch's Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Plants ?

For example: page 712 "main active constituentns of ayahuasca are harmaline and dmt" ... ahm.. no, caapi has very little harmaline, mostly harmine and thh

or page 842, saying that Claudio Naranjo's experiment with harmaline were actually ayahuasca ?! In his experiments it was given intravenously, how can he have administered ayahuasca this way?

on page 416 he says passiflora has no b-carbolines at all ? What do ppl here think about this?

there were definitely other things I read that sounded strange but I dont remember right now, maybe other people have noticed more things or can comment on this that I just said?

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.
