Hi there.

Mushroom identification can be a difficult task to undertake even with the specimen in hand. In some cases even a microscope and all the resources in the world can only get you close.

In the future, regardless of which forum you are posting in, a photo of spore surface/gills, stipe, medium and account off the spore print color and even pictures of nearby mushrooms and nearby trees can be quite helpful in narrowing down your specimen.

Thank you for the advice. I was just excited to see a mushroom pop up Smile
I will worry about the type when a few have grown around it I guess.

I’m pretty adept with mushroom ID.
OP is correct about the one photo. Have any pictures of the underside? Maybe hold it in your hand for perspective.

Managed to get a photo of the underside without plucking the mushroom. Smile
