Cool specimens but neither of those contain mescaline. You're looking for Trichocereus (Echinopsis), either Trichocereus Bridgesii (aka Echinopsis Lagenformis), Trichocereus Peruvianus or Trichocereus Pachanoi. Until you get a good eye for them stick with looking for Bridgesii.
What country are you in? It is important to research the legalities of the different types of cacti in your location.
And yes, you can eat cactus raw but that's rather masochistic, in my opinion.
