I'm still trying to figure something out ...

I know alot of lye is generally a good thing but.
Is there anyway too much can break down or otherwise harm the spice?
...

Anything posted on here is relayed fables from a friend of a friend
who does not own a computer. Since SWIM cannot type these up himself,
I reiterate his fictional ramblings word for word to be a nice guy.

lol yeah true el ka bong would def lecture me about the dmt suffering with that lye .. Very happy

but fact is, SWIM did all sorts of extractions with different pH ranges, sometimes using huge amounts of lye and never noticed any loss in yield (only diminishing emulsion problems), never heard of anybody having and neither has heard of a chemical instability of dmt to high pH, so... Smile

Thanks for the replies.
SWIM was just wondering.
There was maybe 3 coincidental changes that could have led to his current extraction problems.
Increased lye was one of them.
He really didn't think it could hurt, just wanted to be sure Smile
...

El ka bong was great, he had lots of great trip reports, also used to love cilosyb, he was going to write a book and then he just dissapeared, still theres loads of other great folks posting here so its all good!
