Extractions were performed on the bark and the leaves, separately.

Obtusifolia - Bark active at ~0.5%. Leaves inactive.

Longifolia - Inactive

Sophorae - Inactive

Positive samples were then tested for purity.

Obtusifolia - 98% DMT, 2% related alkaloids.

This is the extent of my Acacia research thus far. Perhaps it has some value here

Thanks for the Info. Do you have any Infos on the time and conditions of the Obtusifolia plant and when it was "harvested"?

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Conditions - Full sun, light to moderate watering, sandy soil.

Harvested during late Autumn early Winter. The plant seems to yield less during the warmer seasons.
After my last post I had read that the leaves are active and that they must be dry, for what it's worth.

Or something...

I also read somewhere that the alkaloid content might be greater when taking the leaves in spring. Maybe an acacia phyllode thread would be a good idea. But i have no rights to create something in other areas of the forum...

Where Obtusifolia grows in the East, the Dharawal people observed more variations in seasons than the conventional Autumn-Winter-Spring-Summer cycle.

They had six seasons.
They observed more rain in Autumn and in Spring.
Wet cool(ing) and wet warm(ing), respectively.
During the Summer and the Winter it remains relatively dry.

It would make sense that during these wetter periods the plants enter a period of increased, sustained growth... But that's speculation.

I agree, maybe even an entire Acacia sub-forum(?)would be a good idea. Or an Acacia FAQ.
The plant life might even catch a break too!

Or something...
