Is it just me or do you also have a pet name for your spice? I tend to name mine on colour and type of first trip, for example let me introduce;

On the left, "Fluffy white fun Fest" and on the right my current favourite "Ibiza sunset Orange"

Please share so I know it's not just meShocked

I haven't named my spice, but I like the fact you do! Have you had any other names for past batches?

I love this idea!

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."

That thread is a bit more nickname Running bear and a bit more on the serious side, i was more interested in the more personal aspect people may attribute to their spice.

If i mentioned some of the nicknames mentioned on that thread a lot of people would pick up on what i was talking about.

On the other hand if i asked someone if they would like some of my "fluffy white fun fest" i better not be talking to a female in earshot of my wifeShocked

Thanks for the link though Thumbs up

Given the amount of information I pull out of thin air for randoms on the internet, I think I deserve a break here. But thanks for the link. Yeah, I saw that thread but completely forgot about it. Selective memory in action! (Or possibly some kind of dementia, although ignorance is bliss. Apparently.)

These things are not always entirely clear through the medium of text. And I failed to translate your txtspk into the required emoticon. "mbd" Twisted Evil

#anyhow

Now that I've finished massaging my ego (and whatever else), back to the topic:

IIRC, my last batch was named "Essence of Jasmine". After a recrystallisation from light petroleum ether, the extremely faintly raspberry-pink-blushed nearly white crystals had the faintest of floral scents with a sweet note as the strongest component. It was mouthwatering and very smooth.

well, i do label my spice with the extraction details, but never a "pet" name...

i did, however, name a batch of Changa - "Divine Unicorn" - a variation on Electric Sheep...
