Many of you know of nutmeg as the drug of desperate teenagers and so on. The resulting bad reputation is largely a consequence of poor dosing technique. That is most probably irrelevant here.

This is a note to highlight another, albeit unlikely, unpleasant effect that could occur when consuming certain foodstuffs after ingesting what ordinarily would be only a small amount of nutmeg.
