I read a article about it they were on the market before and sold like hot cakes. But some complained it was "racist" so they pulled it from the market now its back just in time for the holiday season
If they get it pulled again it could be a real collectors item. I saw the pix and would not have recognized it as Obama, buy now and put them in the attic could be a real sound investment.
It is absurd because I am sure Obama himself could care less about a so called "racist" chia HEAD. He has a Tiger to ride and bigger fish to fry.
I have always thought the chia pet heads would make a excellent gag gift but never acted on that thought. This year may be different a good gag gift that will bring a laugh and may even increase in value in coming years.
Imagine the laugh the future humans will get when they look back on USAs first Black President and the controversy surrounding the "racist chia head" to me its funny as hell now that people get so worked up about it.

PS I wonder what ever became of Mr. Potato Head he was very offensive and evil as well, if my memory serves me.
