Which part of the plant contains the DMT? I don't mean root bark or twigs. I mean in the cellular structures. Is it found in the cytoplasm of the plant cell?

I ask this because I've run multiple failed extracts, and I'm trying to troubleshoot what went wrong. This is all assuming I have the right species, which is a whole other ballpark.

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

A fairly large quantity is free-floating in the cytosol, probably. Maybe some is stored in vesicles for use in signalling.
