Hi ..I have a very simple kitchen tool that makes stirring the acrb acid boil obsolete!
This is an electric kitchen tool that does an awsome job while the while the soup is boiling!
This tool is a high speed blender and chopper and while submursed below water line..
[ while boiling] it will churn and chop very fast and ..could cut acid boils in half.. or down to one one hour boil?
This tool is high speed and will quickly suck the bark and liquid into it.. and funnel it out through jet ports...
I bought this tool it has two atachments one is the [choper blender]and other atachment looks like an ..[egg beater] but the [chopper blender]..one works best.. because all turbulence is under the water surface preventing a mess..
Photos below of [hamelton Beach] kitchen tool...
Some one may want to try this tool ..it may even help with a higher yeld of product?

This post made me laugh. I feel like you're sponsored by Hamilton Beach.

Howd it go? Was it helpful?

It was extreemly helpfull!.. and did a way easier and better job of ..agitation of bark and liquids...and also chopping bark into finer peices ,,,all a process to breaking down cell walls easier and faster!

Just compare the results of stirring the acid boil one every fifteen minutes ...
[by hand with a spoon?]..for and hour .....then the results of high speed agitation and mixing..and choping of bark ..your going to get WAY better results...!!

I wouldent share this info if i didnt see a benifit in it!
Try it it should make the process a bit easier!

I've had great results with my single burner hotplate purchased for approximately $15 USD from my local grocery store. It wouldn't be ideal for anything requiring very specific temperatures, but it works great for all of my needs! Wink

[not shure yet...
I didnt think much of it till I used it.. this tool is used when your bark is not finely enough powdered.. as is the case with a lot of extractions..

Finely powderd bark is easier to extract from..and that is what the blades do to the bark..they chop it down finer while boiling..without splashing it all over the counter..

Also [while boiling]..keeping the soup mixing and being choped up finer helps speed process..

This is super easy tool to use without splashing the soup over the sides of the pan with a spoon..

Im shure my yield will be as much as the bark has to give ..i just found this tool very handy ..and havent measured yield yet..

Hand blended is ok.. but it does very little to break up the bark pieces finer for a faster breakdown ...

one...This turbo blender does three things...it chops the bark finer..

two..It keeps the soup moving mixing and blending..

three..It does a very good job of agitation while boiling...

hand stirring wont duplicate the effects..

Either way will.. work.. I just like the ease of using this turbo power blender..

My idea was just a sugestion to make process easier and posibly more effective..

give it a try the blender can be found dirt cheap in second hand store or about 20 bucks new..

Did that settle into clarity or stay opaque?

chill out starway!

even if it is with a pinch of humor, im talking serious!

nothing that a bit of imagination cant resolve, when it comes to improvising kitchen tools, in lack of proper lab material. (or almost nothin, there are times you really dream with a professional lab...)

This first did not turn clear.. was milky yellow ..
It may have been because of the turbo blender causing too much sedement from very fine particles and minor emulson i didnt notice ..

It should clear by pull 3 and up..and start producing crystals through evaporation and plant oil pour off..
