so this is a wonderful turn of events..

SWIM was thinking of how to get fumaric salts of dmt + jungle spice from his saturated d-limonene.

he did a STB..with 80g of mimosa and 80+g lye..with about 1200ml water..and roughly 50-70ml of d-limonene...he shook the stuff..and it separated ok..but he threw in a few more grams of lye to cut down on the emulsion...

anyway..

he hates dmt acetate..because its so sticky and hard to weigh..so he was trying to figure out a way to get fumaric salts from d-limonene...

he tried just adding the fumaric acid to the d-limonene and stirring it a lot...that didnt work so well...so then..

SWIM was looking at his bottle of fumaric acid..and saw that .63g/100ml water at 25C..

so he was like SWEET...he did some math and came up with ~150mg fumaric acid can go in ~25ml of water...so he weighed out 150mg fumaric acid..and put it in a jar..and then added 25ml water...at first it wasnt mixing at all..and SWIM thought he had failed..but the water was kinda cold..so he heated it up just a bit...maybe to 95F-33C or so..and MOST of it got absorbed...only a few little chunks didnt go in..

so then he decanted the d-limonene off of his mimosa mix...put it through a cotton ball filter in a funnel...and then dumped in the fumaric acid saturated water(FASW) and stirred it like crazy!

he stirred it for awhile and let it sit for awhile...then maybe an hour or two later..he sucked up the dmt fumarate water...and put that through a cotton filter..to keep any d-limonene out of the mix..

and then put it in his dehydrator...it took roughly 3 hours or so to evaporate the water..and leave the fumaric acid and dmt fumarate..

from this first pull he got a total of 510mg nice solid crystals!!! they are a sort of creamy light orange color..nice and solid..this means that 510mg minus the ~150mg fumaric acid equals ~360mg dmt!!! hell yeS! SWIM isnt sure exactly how much weight the fumaric acid weighs compared to the dmt..but this doesnt seem to bad!

so he made another batch of the FASW and put it in the same d-limo..and the FASW turned nice and yellow..while the d-limo seemed to clear up A LOT! so SWIM is excited to evaporate the second pull from the d-limo

hes got some more clean d-limo mixing with the mimosa tea..hes gonna let that sit until tomorrow..

so there it is folks...no more sticky dmt acetate!!

here is a step by step to this whole tek

step 1) grind 80g root bark into powder
step 2) add 80g lye to 1200ml water
step 3) stir then add 75ml D-limonene and turn end over end(do at least 3 clean d-limonene pulls)
step 4) let layer separate and then turn end over end for another 10 minutes
step 5) pour off the layer of d-limonene through a filter into a jar
step 6) combine 150mg fumaric acid with 25ml warm water until the water is saturated(FASW)
step 7) add the FASW to the d-limonene and stir for 20 minutes or so and then suck out the water which is the bottom layer and then filter this to keep any d-limonene out of the mixture(do this at least 3 times)
step Cool evaporate the FASW
step 9) collect dry crystalline dmt fumarate

consume

flippin A - swim mentioned he had been thinking about this for a while - dmt acetate is a beeyach to deal with so swim intends to try this on his next d-limo pull today.
perhaps by doing this the final product will xtalize easier.
Got pix ? if not mind if i add some, of my exp with ur tek ?

This is great and a little unorthodox xD! We can possibly ditch the aqueous decanting procedure+lye perhaps? A food extraction basification with CaOH2 would be most preferred.

  • 100g bark~50g calcium hydroxide
  • 300ml water, soak & Press.
  • 300ml d-limonene and pour out solution &repeat

    ?

SWIM didnt have good luck with that method..the calcium hydroxide didnt break down the bark well enough for SWIM..and the more aqueous the solution is...it seems it pulls the dmt out much better...because he can really mix the d-limonene into the solution..while the calcium hydroxide made everything all goopy...well thats just SWIMS experience with it..so he went back to old faithful..and used lye

also SWIM is going to only be using something like 100-150ml of d-limonene for this tek..for some reason the only dry tek that has worked for SWIM was the bufotenine extraction..SWIM was getting tired of low yields..

I should start printing Jorkest T-shirts. Seriously!

This guy seems to be the answer to all SWIM's extraction troubles.

    No more vinegar spice Smile

so SWIMs second FASW pull on the first d-limo yielded 360mg of not crystalline stuff it was kinda hard to scrape up..but it all came up..so that means SWIM has yielded 510mg spice fumarate on the first FASW pull(which is basically all you can get from 150mg fumaric acid) and then another 360mg..which is 360mg minus 150mg fumaric acid..leaving 210mg spice

for a grand total of 570mg freebase spice(once he converts it back) from the first d-limonene pull and that was only pulled from twice with FASW..hes gonna evaporate the third FASW that he let sit overnight..hes expecting maybe 100mg...its scrapeable and solid..and very hard..but well here is a picture he sent along

so far that is about .71% of the root bark on the first pull and hes still got the third FASW to evaporate...how exciting this is...

SWIY could prob re-crystalize the chunk with a small amount of water. Although if SWIY is gonna FB it anyway why bother.. Nice job... Again...

yeah hes gonna freebase this stuff..hes been looking for some nice clean jungle spice...he never wanted to use xylene or anything gross...most likely hes gonna infuse some herbs with this and make an nice smokeable ayahuasca Smile take some thh orally with maybe a bit of harmaline..and then once that gets all in his system..smoke it!

he also had his first d-limonene sticky goo experience the other night..and boy was that pleasant..very easy..non threatening..it got him interested in smoking freebase again..and he hadnt smoked the stuff for awhile..so it was a pleasant surprise..

swim used 40g bark, swims first set of pulls(combined 3 fresh dlimo pulls) had fasw added to it - after agitating and letting it settle its amazing how well the fasw picks up the spice - in swims test tube there was the yellowy, almost orange fasw with the now white to clear dlimo on top.

aah and the natural spice is very tasty eh -

Great work Jorkest! Now SWIM just needs to brush up on evapping water, and he'll be set!

SWIM's still wondering about drytek. It seems that MHRB's material consistency is the problem. Perhaps a thread that tackles this subject is needed.

SWIM picked up some plaster of paris dry-mix (presumably, CaSO4) and is going to be trying that as a desiccant for a while. Perhaps it will speed up the water evap.

yeah the consistency of the mimosa in a drytek just wasnt working that well...for it to do anything you would have to sit there and stir it for hours..because it was soo clumpy and goopy..SWIM says there just wasnt enough surface area to get to the dmt..with this tek..he can shake the hell out of the d-limo/mimosa mix..and as long as its got plenty of lye in it..it doesnt form an emulsion

SWIM has been using his food dehydrator to evaporate the water...im sure you could probably use an oven on a low temp setting..because it does take quite a few hours for 25ml of water to evaporate..but SWIM figured...hes either evaporating vinegar..which then turns into goop...or hes evaporating FASW..which actually gives a solid product you can weigh and see your progress..

SWIM wonders if this same method could be applied to mescaline teks to yield mescaline fumarate...
Everything I post is made up fiction. SWIM represents a character who is not based in or on reality.

ahhh - i think i know what is making a difference between what swiy and swim did - swim took the lime/mhrb mixture after the first dlimo pull and put the dough into a piece of cotton cloth - squeezed all the water out - preddy hard, swim then separated the water from the dlimo and put aside the water - to be added to the next stb, the tesxture of the bark now is odd - in a thp the dlimo pours through easily - it looks like bark but just different and not sticky or gooey or anything bad in any way.

no idea yet - he says hes still wating for the fasw to evap - would the correct proceedure - if converting to freebase be -
wash with dry acetone to remove excess fumaric acid then the normal sodium carbonate paste and acetone pull ?
then optional naptha spice and jungle separation

hehe i know swim jumped on this fast - same day it was posted but he says hes having fun extracting and had bark available - this tek sounds preddy damn good because swim hates doing many many pulls and most extractions are thrown away before they have been exhausted.
    swims no 1 problem actually.

yeah..that was a problem with SWIM...he was doing so many pulls for nothing..it was driving him nuts...so he went back to lye and BAM great yields..less problems..less work..and way way more yield
