Attempted my first freebase to fumerate conversion for snorting.

Started with 250mg spice, dissolved in 5ml IPA.
Dissolved fumaric acid in around 35ml IPA until pH of the solution dropped to around 3.
Mixed the two together.

Went a milky colour but took a long time for any precipitate and there didn't appear to be much so I put it in the freezer for an hour.

Much more precipitate but it was all floating around in the solution as well as stuck to the bottom. Not any real big crystals, just lots of small ones. Like a snow globe.

Evap'd all of the solution on a dish under a fan, and now I have around 850mg of fluffy white powder. Seems way too much
Have I done something wrong here? My thinking is that what I have is a load of fumaric acid and dmt fumerate mixed together?

Is this safe to snort as is? Or do I need to purify it of the excess fumaric acid?
