lewinii thank so much for sharing! Very nice!! Great habitat shots of some very robust specimens. May I ask are you over in the Nova Scotia area or up in BC?

Ps Semilanceatta is my favorit Psilocybe hands down. I remember when I was a young teen here in the Pacific North West, Ps Cyanescens was not as prolific as it is now. Libs were the mushroom to find. Now its the other way around.

Thanks for the great post!!!

glad you liked it guys.

ice house these were picked in newfoundland. afaik its the only psilocybe in this province. love to try different ones if they were around, however semilanceata are quite good.

hey lewinii,

http://www.shroomery.org...oms-grow-wild-in-my-area

while it is the only psilocybe species in your area. apparently gymnopilus spectabilis and pan subbs grow in your area too.

my shroom hound friend picks psilocybes that aren't on the list for his area (yet) so i might also check out what grows in your neighboring provinces if you know of a good habitat for them.

LoL

Brother if I had my choice of ANY psylocybe....Actually If I was going to have a psychedelc experience and I had my choice of any entheogen to facilitate that I would choose that little mushroom every time. I dont even have to think about it.

I dont know what it is, maybe its just me. Those are some very special mushrooms.

I like em better than cyans.

damnit now I want some..but I dont want to be chased away by the farmers around here either..I need to find a private spot to hunt for them..

Until then I am hunting cyans and baeocystis this week.

Psilocybe mexicana is sopposed to be the "mexican liberty caps" acording to stamets and they have a very similar effect..only you can grow mexicana indoors..
Long live the unwoke.

Thats some fine shroms indeed, ive only found about 300this year but tbh my motivation is not as high as last year since i nowadays grow some cubes.

I do agree however that libs play in their own field, the lucidity makes a very different trip than other mushrooms ive tried, and combined with harmalas the difference to ayahuasca is very slim.

I swear I found some that looked just like that. But I was nervous to eat them =[
