Dear Nexians,

I have some experience with smoking freebase DMT. And I think a time has come for me to try oral administration. I did some research here on the Nexus, but I stil didn´t make up my mind whether I should go with rue+freebase or rue+Mimosa tea... Do you have any suggestions how I should launch my travellling with oral DMT? I have two scenarios for starting low (= I suspect I might have slightly lower tolerance to psychedelics than average, I weight around 80kg/160 pounds):

(1) Syrian rue tea from 3g, wait 20 to 30 minutes, then drink 40mg of freebase dissolved in Coke (or should I start higher than that?). Lie down in silent, dimly light room.

(2) Syrian rue tea from 3g, wait 20 to 30 minutes, then drink Mimosa tea from 4g of rootbark (or should I start higher than that?). Lie down in silent, dimly light room.

I also have a solid piece of Caapi at home, but never used it. Is there any major difference (in interaction, nausea etc.) between Caapi and Rue?

I appreciate any comments, suggestions or advice.
Thank you!

I dont have any experience with Rue but to answer one of your questions I would advise you to use the freebase. Even when I drink ayahuasca at home I use dmt freebase in it rather than mimosa or chacruna with my caapi.

I like to accurately dose the dmt. I don't like mis-fires and strongly dislike playing the "should I redose ...what if its too much... what should I do" GAME! Id rather know exactly what is in it and nail it right out of the gate. Way less dud's way more breakthroughs.Very happy

But thats just me.

1-3g of rue...I can get away with 1 but it makes a shorter experience that is over within 2 hours..peak is 20-30 minutes. 3g of rue is a solid strong dose of harmalas for me and can make the DMT go for much longer and with more sickness. Some may need 3g just to activate DMT I am not sure but 1g does it for me and Traveler has said it is enough for him also. 3g wont hurt you though so that sounds good for the rue and you can be confident that it will inhibit MAO for you.

With mimosa 4g can be equivalent to 80g DMT not 40. Mimosa is not only 1%..it is up to 2% DMT content. This is something that I read often when people compare pharma to mimosa..so I would say that you either take 40mg of DMT or 2-3g mimosa..if 40mg is how much DMT you wish to take.

"I also have a solid piece of Caapi at home, but never used it. Is there any major difference (in interaction, nausea etc.) between Caapi and Rue?"

I have done a lot of work with caapi and more recently much work with rue. Many people claim that caapi is nicer and easier to purge with etc..to be honest none of this is true IME. I love both caapi and rue but I never really found anything that puts caapi above rue for me. I think much of this could just be peoples self suggestion. I dunno, lately I have preferred to brew with rue and I just throw in a tiny bit of caapi as another admixture.

Try rue and then try caapi if you like. Might as well try them both.

Just dont eat the rue, then brew the caapi and then come and say rue makes you sickerSmile..brew the rue just as you would a caapi brew and filter it well, reduce and decant it. For me this makes a tea that is on par with traditional ayahuasca for sure.

I like 200mg freebase dmt converted to salt with 400mg freebase harmalas converted to salt.
All dissolved into a liter of fizzy beverage, consumed over a several hour period - stopping when nausea hits and waiting for it to pass before consuming more.
The nice thing about sipping and waiting is it helps with autotitrating your dose. Find that sweetspot. It is so worthwhile.
These aren't the droids you're looking for.
