Nice pictures guys. Al, that's a beast! I can't wait for this season, I got here a little late last year but I am finally in the position to catch me some psilocybe cyanescens. Ice House's PNW thread last year had me drooling. This fall will be my first REAL chance to find something good and I hope I can, I've been waiting half my life for the chance. Maybe Ice and Semios would be so kind to throw me a tip or two, you guys killed it last year! 'Little spider weaves a wispy web, stumblin' through the woods it catches to my head. She crawls behind my ear and whispers secrets. Dragonfly whiz by and sings now teach it.'

those p.semilanceata in my pictures were truly a amazing sight for me. they were growning everywhere that day. also, from what i read, these species don't blue to often because bluing is caused by unstable psilocin breaking down, and liberty caps have low psilocin content of around .02%, and these mushrooms i picked almost every one had blue somewhere on them, and for several of them the entire mushroom was blue. i have an account on the shoomery, and i have not seen many heavily blue liberty caps like these before "science never proves anything; you can never duplicate an event precisely at the same moment in time as the initial event. science can only show correlation from the evidence and data derived from it." -benzyme

Let me just say - as inspiration - I just started mushroom cultivation in June. So really, if you want a pile o mushies, just make the jump from cakes to tubs. The most important thing is sterile procedure. If I can do it so can you! On another note - I wish you were all here so I could hand you a pile of fungal beauty and we could all hang out in the forest together.
