So, I've kinda' been putting off my introduction essay as I was planning on blowing everyone away with a pictorial acetone extraction guide I've been working on, but it's going to be awhile before I can get all the supplies needed, so instead I'd like to share some songs from my new album that take inspiration from my spice journeys, either directly (as is the case with the first track), or indirectly where the inspiration became apparent after the song was finished.

I have little talent for art or writing, but I like to think I can get some of what I have experienced across here, at least in an abstract way.

Other than that, I'm philosophically agnostic & socialist. People say I look like a more muscular version of George Clooney genetically spliced to have Fabio's hair. Wink I also have a huge zit on my nose that won't go away.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Hey dude. welcome to the Nexus. looking forward to your acetone extraction!
Lol your description cracked me up.
Nice tracks man, the first one is so reminiscent of my spice journey's its ridiculous, the bells/ringning is always there, even if it's just a hint of it. I honestly can't explain how close to the sounds I get your music is! THANKS.

Peace

birthing golden vibrations,
that echo through folds of space & time,
ferry my soul closer to God

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, the ringing sound really is a predominate element for me too.

Hello STRL, welcome!
I really like your music!! It's rare nowadays to hear something that stands out and doesnt sound to obvious... You got a unique style my friend!

I have to agree you have a really awesome style, and the spiceyness is totally there. Can I ask what software/hardware you use?

Thanks!

I tend to use a machinedrum as my main compositional tool, it's hooked up to a few different analog synths and effects, then everything goes through logic audio for multi tracking.

I'd love to hear what other members are doing, please share!

Great tunes dude! Do you listen to Heyoka at all? Some of the elements in your songs remind me of him. Looking forward to that acetone pictorial!

"Becoming a person of the plants is not a learning process, it is a remembering process. Somewhere in our ancestral line, there was someone that lived deeply connected to the Earth, the Elements, the Sun, Moon and Stars. That ancestor lives inside our DNA, dormant, unexpressed, waiting to be remembered and brought back to life to show us the true nature of our indigenous soul" - Sajah Popham.
