Hi Everyone ! next weekend i will be trying spice for the first time and figured it would be good to get a few opinions from those with any experience using dmt.
Id first like to start by saying the last 6 months of my life have been almost dream like as i have finally (slightly ... ever so slightly) filled this giant void of questions that i have had since i was a kid (I'm 18 now). To make it short and sweet, through a very odd series of events starting with a TV show about Coral Castle, i began to read about Chi and Latent energies in the human body, which in turn lead me to read many texts on meditation, enlightenment, the origins of consciousness, and so on. While reading all of these profound things, there was a deep sense in me that i knew all this before or even knew it all now (if that makes sense). As i kept reading i always had the feeling that these teachings were almost like an old friend i had once known so well, One thing that changed me as soon as i read it was a line in a book, descriptions from past Buddhas/ enlightened ones that described the eternal "10,000 miles of clear sky" that one could experience if they transcended the bounds of the material physical world, this single line of text caused an image to flash over my minds eye of just pure consciousness in the middle of space aware that i was a part of it but also aware that i could not truly experience this without years upon countless years of meditation and spiritual progress. This made me really sad, but through some other weird happenings i was lead to a documentary about dmt called the spirit molecule which absolutely blew my mind because i realized now i don't have to wait a super-long time for profound experiences(not to say that mediation and the likes are unimportant as i am still going to read and learn as much as i can about them and practice as well). With that all said my question to you all is what do you all think a good starting dose of spice would be, is vaporizing(not sure with what yet probably gonna buy gvg) 30 mg too much for a first time trip?. I most likely will be alone doing this in my room on my bed and will most likely not have a sitter (or do you all recommend one 1st time?)

20-30mg is fine, and vapor genie is amazing. As far as a sitter, i never had anybody sit with me but it's up to you. I had people sit outside my bedroom quietly the first time I smoked. Just completely surrender to the experience and let go of everything. It will be great.

I personally would start at about 10mg, become comfortable with the way dmt feels to you. This may take a few times at 10mg but there is no need to rush your journey. Then you can dose higher the more comfortable you get. I did this when with my first experiences and I found it much easier to enjoy and explore the incredible places, patterns, entities and everything else with higher doses. I usually err on the side of caution with such powerful phenomenon, to each their own though eh?

A far as sitter, I never used one, and have found my first few times I preferred to be alone during the experience but shortly afterward felt an uncontrollable urge to talk to someone about it. Heck grab a piece of paper and a pen so you can record any fleeting memories Smile

Have you checked out the tibetan book of the dead? If not I think you may rather enjoy, but remember there is no "fast track" to enlightenment.
Be safe, I look forward to hearing of your travels!

Will this be your first time using a psychedelic? If so, I personally wouldnt recommend starting with 30mg all by yourself. Things like changes in perception of time and loss of ego are hard to understand until youve felt them, and experiencing them for the first time while an alien being shows you the most mind blowing things youve ever seen can be a bit too much. There is no rush, take things slowly and work your way up to larger doses. In my opinion, this is the best way to avoid having a bad experience you weren't ready for.

If you do have a sitter, make sure its someone you can trust, and someone who looks at psychedelics in a similar way that you do- a very serious and powerful tool for spiritual and personal development, and not just a good time. Let them know that they should remain quiet after you smoke, and let you be the one to talk first when youve come back and are ready to talk. They shouldnt be asking you to describe whats happening while youre tripping, asking you how your feeling, messing with the music/turning on a tv/doing anything loud that could distract you. If I am sitting with someone while they're smoking, I usually will read a book or magazine, so Im not just staring at them the whole time. I will look over at them from time to time, and if their eyes are open and we make eye contact, I smile and nod my head slightly, then if they dont say anything or look like they are trying to communicate with me, just go back to reading my book. Opening your eyes after smoking to someone staring at you like you need to say something to them when youre not ready to talk can be a bit of a stresser, and make you feel quite uncomfortable.

Anyways, hope this helps! Best of luck on your voyages!
