A friend of a friend's first few steps in hyperspace consisted mostly of things like an enormous ancient american motif style structure, with the blocks constantly cascading/reshaping & communicating. It was all black & white, and it was all there was. Then my friend noticed a small scarab type beetle in 1 of these patterns (or ON the pattern, as it was distinct and of another dimension). From the body of this tiny beetle emanated the most intense beam of light imaginable. Think all of the lights of Las Vegas condensed to a pin point, streaming out in the most intense beam type pattern. This beam of light spiraled in every direction, every dimension, and simultaneously was creating all that was. Very intriguing. A few days later, this friend had their first Breakthrough...
This friend had just enjoyed some spice and had the familiar "WOW... Here we go!!!" feeling, only more intense and faster than ever before... Until my friend realized that it did not work. My friend was walking around their place of work with a couple other friends, thinking about how disappointing it was to be in the "real world" after being so sure they were on their way to orbit. My friend continued to walk around at "work", and noticed that they were not actually working there. A series of beings were working there, all about 6 feet tall, grayish skin. Every time my friend tried to focus on their faces, the details became wildly obscured. These beings were all dressed in khakis and polo shirts, and spent most of their time poking their heads out from around corners to observe my friends from a distance.
Then my friend opened their eyes, and realized that they had not been at work. They had actually been sitting in a chair, in complete darkness, in the comfort of their own home, listening to 3rd eye by Tool. My friend then realized that the experience was not in fact a disappointment as had been assumed just moments before. They realized that they had actually broken through so quickly, that their entire reality (or at least their access to whatever one would like to interpret reality as) was changed before they even had a chance to notice. It was so real and profound, and has given my friend a fine illustration of the "intellectual black hole" mentioned so often by Mckenna. My friend hypothesized that these "beings" projected themselves in human attire, in his work environment, to make him feel more comfortable. This way they could observe my friends in a more natural setting.
The moral of the story is that no written language will ever suffice to even begin to scrape the tip of this iceberg...

I was gonna say.... How could someone do this at work? Sounds deep.

It was much deeper than my friend could every possibly have fathomed, regardless of how much reading and preparation they did prior to the experience. It also got my friend thinking about how all of their favorite songs are in the 10-12 minute range* (as well as much of the programming on Adult Swim), and they decided that it's all got to be intricately/intimately linked somehow. One phrase that my friend hears tossed around quite a bit during these brief trips to hyperspace is "it's all connected", and sees what appears to be justification regarding this idea just about every day. Regardless of whether or not they will encounter the spice again, their being or self is profoundly forever changed (in a good way!).
*this seems to be the general time frame for my friend in time (time according to this society/dimension at least) from liftoff until they have the realization that yes, that really did just happen.

Hehe the laziness sure is concerning sometimes Sounds like a pretty absurd experience, almost like delirium Mad, bad and dangerous to know.

The only thing more outrageous than the experience itself, is the fact that my friend can't talk about it with anyone! They have some trustworthy, reliable friends, but when you start talking about how the entirety of this reality was replaced with another reality so quickly that you don't even have time to notice the change, people generally have a hard time following along. and that's before you even get to the point where you're actually describing the experience...

Your "friend" [we all know it's you!] can talk our heads off here! Don't worry about other people not being able to understand.

It's nice to be able to discuss something with other enlightened beings... I'm very impressed regarding the overall maturity that I've noticed on this forum as opposed to others. It's also probably worth mentioning that my friend's experiences came just a few days before burningman, which was a lot like the spice as far as trying to describe it is concerned. my friend had a friend who said that they had access, blah blah blah (did not work out). just when my friend was starting to feel that the situation was hopeless, another friend entered the picture (this other friend taught my friend how to be self sufficient). All of this in the couple days leading up to burningman (and the year's theme was rites of passage). SWIM felt that it was a clear illustration of synchronicity as opposed to just your average every day coincidence...

This is quite common though, one of my best friends quite recently tried a (personally) higher dose 30mg~ and by the time he launched I could see on his facial expression that it would be difficult if not impossible for him to describe what he had experienced. As he began coming down, I encouraged him to talk about his journey and I didn't understand jack.. Odd men in a funhouse that was leaking color from solid iron bars and because of the iron's blank surface he interpreted this as a natural and completely normal occurrence, even when explaining it to me which was outright bizarre To me all of this sounds very strange and I have no relation at all with any of it, he also had a fair share of laughing fits during his experience, plus some extern dialog that was WITH the "internal" old men The only things we have in common when on DMT is the rush, carrier wave and euphoria Visually things are unique and often ineffable. Mad, bad and dangerous to know.

you know things are on the right track when the 3rd time they try to explain, they are still at a complete loss for words... the look on the face says it all, much more valuable than priceless

That is the paradoxical and consciousness-generating aspect of Hyperspace. Even after ~half a decade of trying to articulate it, I can't, and probably never will. It's fun to try, though.

My friend thinks it is a great deal of fun trying to articulate his experience(s), but feels that the more they seem to have it figured out, the less sense they seem to make upon formulating a description

Precisely. If you look at what this mechanism is actually doing, you may notice something akin to an expansion via destruction and recreation. At least that's just the way I seen it. By the way, there's no need to talk in the third deperson. Our website is highly encrypted and secure, you should feel comfortable here. No one is out to get you. Be well.

My ideas resonate similarly with the whole destruction/creation, death/rebirth concept... I was extremely ignorant and naive in the past, mostly because the society I was living in (although I still consider myself a productive member of society I like to think of myself as existing on the fringe) had taught me to be more of a mechanical distribution of preconceived notions rather than a free-thinking being able to truly live in the moment. I owe a lot of my new attitude to much of the reading I've done and friends I've made, but that first cubensis experiences years ago in college was also a significant experience. For the first time in years, I had seen things as they truly were, and not just as I had been taught to interpret them. For the first time since childhood, I was able to see the beauty in everything. Whether good or bad, live or inanimate, I was able to really appreciate everything for the sake of its mere existence. It's a shame that so many people are taught for their entire lives to ignore so many of the aspects of life that I consider to be so vital...

Thank you! Btw... a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend performed their 2nd extraction recently... the spice turned out PURE WHITE before re crystallization (slightly modified noman's tek), and this friend cannot even begin to express how thankful they are to share the beauty of life (and all of the dimensions involved!) with their loving friends/family. I would also like to mention how wonderful the following idea was:
My friend was intimidated as far as performing an re crystallization was concerned... until someone else mentioned the idea of heating a pot of boiling water ahead of time (I apologize, was fairly baked & cannot remember the appropriate source to mention), and then moving the next step away from the open flame / heat source. By utilizing the already boiled/hot water, it is possible to do some OUTRAGEOUSLY simple re crystallization without having to risk any solvent fumes by an open spark etc....
