Hello everyone at the Nexus, I posted here about a year ago telling of my first DMT experience. I had a very intense trip but did not break through. After that, I was not able to find any more DMT until today, over a year later. I obtained 210 mg.

A little over 1 hour ago I smoked 10 mg as a trial, out of a hoemmade test tube pipe. I felt a very intense body rush and experienced mild CEV's for about 5-10 minutes. Later tonight I will be smoking 50 mg, and I hope to break through this time. I will post my experience once I am done with the trip. Thanks all.

Hey dude, might i suggest if your shooting for a first time breakthrough, try 40 instead of 50, because although you do want to breakthrough, you also want to be able to remember the experience/ not black out.

I have to agree with Harmalosa on this one, 50 is on the large side, if you test run with 10mg, you should not leap to 50mg. I usually warm-up with 25mg~ and experience strong visual effects. Breaking through is far beyond strong visual effects

Since you have approx. 200mg left I'd suggest you go for smaller dosages, perhaps 30-35mg~ and if you feel comfortable with that then take the leap of faith to 50mg

Ok, I smoked it twice yesterday. Both doses were eyeballed.

First was about 40 in the test tube. I took 3 hits, which was all of the DMT (none left in the tube). I felt a very intense body high, and moderate visuals for about 15 minutes. For the first 5 minutes I was VERY confused and could not move, I basically had no idea who/where I was or hwat was going on. The visuals weren't all that impressive, around the same as a few tabs of LSD.

Second time was about 60 mg, with the sandwich method. This trip was definitely more intense, but I still didn't break through. The visuals were quite intense, but I did not see any entities. When I closed my eyes I just saw a huge range of complex fractal-like patterns, and when I opened them I was still seeing my room, but it looked very "alien" and everything was morphing around and developing bizarre textures. It felt similar to a lucid dream, but with more confusion.

Now, I have a problem. My room REEKS of DMT, and the smell will not go away. I live with my parents, so you can see why that might be a problem (yes, I am 1. My dad used to be pretty into psychedelics back in the day so there's a chance he would recognize the smell, but he would not approve of me using it. How do I get rid of the smell?

You're burning it. Vaporized DMT is almost odorless.

First off I would strongly advice AGAINST using any psychedelic drugs in a unfriendly enviroment toward the traveler, such as your parents home, accept their rules or simply move out if the substance use is that important to you.

Secondly I'm strongly against eyeballing milligrams, try sometime comparing two similar sized piles of DMT. I've done that and was wrong with a 20mg~ actually being 70mg~, eyeballing milligrams is not possible nor should it be attempted with such strong psychedelics as DMT. Especially if you want a scientific approach, knowing what dose may yield what kind of experience.

Thirdly ۩ is correct, although vaporized DMT does smell quite fruity (imo) it's not something that tends to stick around, even when used in my apts. smallest room (bedroom with poor ventilation) it's clear of any DMT smell within 30minutes of open windows.

If you however happen to burn your product it will most probably reek of burnt plastic.

If you don't succeed in breaking through on 60mg however, I'd suggest you look over your technique and product quality.

60mg is a lot I think you have to improve your smoking technique and also I suggest to extract your own spice.

And yes don't do it in your parents house wait till you have your own place or some place where you can do it safely without being unexpectedly interrupted.

I've always wondered how many of the 'burning plastic' reports are due to residual naphtha in the DMT. A friend said he never got what people were talking about until he saw someone smoking DMT at a festival and the bowl actually caught fire! He says he always redissolves his crystals in IPA now and evaps again to make sure there is no trapped naphtha.
