Hi, I'm planning on trying DMT for the first time today and wondering what would be a good starting dose. I'm not looking to breakthrough just yet, more of an introduction to understand it's effects. Thanks.

It'll be great. It's the only piece I have any kind of feel for dosage for anyway  Do you have a torch lighter to use with your GVG? Also what are you planning on using to prevent the DMT from running off? (screens/ash bed/herb bed/copper mesh...) "Science without religion is lame. I'm using screens. I don't have a torch lighter and just a regular VG, are either of those a problem? I did buy a glass pipe as well but I rather not use it.

You are going to want a layer of ash or herb(mullein works great) to lay the DMT onto. If you just have the screens you will definately have the dmt melting and running down the pipe. If you have access to chore boy copper scrubbers you could use some of that instead of the screens and herb/ash.

Thanks for the help guys  . I tried putting a folded up piece of rolling paper between the bottom two screens, and then several screens on top of that. The first time I used 20 mg with not much effect other than walls slightly breathing and feeling a little weird. My curiosity got the best of me so I thought I'd try 40 mg 20 minutes later, but this time there seemed to be even less effects. I still felt kinda weird and I saw patterns overlay my carpet, but I feel like there should be more with 40 mg. Does this have anything to do with a redose? How long should I wait before trying again?

Maybe remove the rolling paper? Try again. But, beware! man try the light bulb bong! its epic and it vaperizes well and holds the dmt inside without wasting any! i tried dmt twice... first time took a smaller hit second time medium hit... the difference in MG made a huge difference i have yet to try a huge dose so i can only imagine what that would be like im trying meo dmt next week at 20mg  DMT is the most beautiful thing i have ever done, and be honored that you have the chance to try it!
