There's not so much chat about extracting DMT from the Canary Reed grass, while MHRB is obviously the main focus for ease of extraction and yield.
Would it be worthwhile to extract from Phalaris? There are miles and miles of it along the rivers in the area i live. It's obviously too late for this season, but could it be considered a viable source for the future ? (if MHRB becomes too pricey or regulated too enthusiasticaly).

It hasnt even been 24 hours since your post, please be patient!

You can use the search function (put "phalaris" on 'headers'Pleased and you will see plenty of threads about it. There's also some work on the background for organizing phalaris info, specific good strains and seed sources, teks to remove gramine, analysis of extractions, etc.. It will all come in due time. In the meanwhile do check all the threads already made about it, and maybe someone else will chime in here.

Good luck on your endeavors and do let us know if you try anything out.

It's possible, it's a pain in the ass, and it uses a bunch of chems. There are a couple good threads on shroomery. Be careful and good luck.

you need the right population or clone, not all are active and there are many alkaloids that can occur in it

STB works fine with it, if you make a concentrated solution from the young fresh leaves
simmer a lot of fresh young phalaris leaves for 10 minutes in some water and then drain, throw the leaves away and use that same water to simmer more for another 10 minutes etc, repeat this for awhile and process a few hundred lbs of fresh grass (after 5-6 simmers use new water and set the saturated solutions aside to combine and reduce later) and you will have a worthwhile solution

Digitaria spp are a better choice

Thanks everybody.
, i'll check out your older threads on this .

AlbertKloyd, special thanks for the tip on STB, but seriously " few hundred pounds of leaf"?
If that's really the case i may reconsider my commitment.

Peace and good will.
