I feel like the tunnel is the same tunnel every time, it may just look a little different, like the same way a store redoes it's marketing.
I also have a familiar place that the tunnel takes me too, a pretty incredible 'waiting area' that I get to see before being blasted into a whole other level.
Some times I just get stuck there in the waiting area, which is still freakin' mind blowing. I also feel the presence of other beings there, I'm usually too stunned to actually see them, but it's like their there telepathically telling me everything is totally fine, just relax and watch. These beings are different than 'the elves' to me. The elves show up at the beginning to watch me smoke the stuff, it's like they're waiting for me to come play with them. They also show up at the end of a big trip, usually pushing hyperspace covered 'objects' at me, like a toddler giving you all their toys you don't understand or want.

When your going through the tunnel, is it the same one every time? Does it alternate? Or is it 100% random every time?
Also, do you ever see (or feel) familiar presences from previous journeys?
Last, do you ever go to the same place twice?

My impression of spice trips was that they are all so totally mind-blowing and bizarre that the idea of the same thing happening twice is totally absurd. I'm probably wrong though, tell me about it.

There are some things.

Why do you expect people go through the tunnel like you do?
I don't remember any tunnels, I usually transit directly into hyperspace without any tunnels.

Personally I have some reoccurring themes and entities, but most often the journeys are totally different. One of the most familiar entity/entities is the jester-type. I love the way they move through the "patterns/code". They can be very nice, but couple times they were quite tough.

For me, I always experience a 'tunnel' on mushrooms. And to the point of your post, it happens the same to me every time.

This tunnel is impossible to describe and even using the world 'tunnel' doesn't really seem like it fits. It's like, I dunno, dark tubes with static pictures on them, however I typically transit through this 'place' so quickly I have no idea what the pictures are of or if they even are really pictures.

The next place I come to is what I call my own waiting area. This place feels like it's underground and really, the best way I can describe it is it's like looking at your face from the inside. Like if you were to take your eyeballs and push them back into your skull and look at the inside of your face, that's the next thing I almost always experience. There is an Alex Grey painting, one of his more popular ones that looks like the inside of faces and I resonate highly with this image, right down to the purple spiral pads on their faces (I also see this just about everytime).

Now sometimes this is as far as I go on mushrooms, but most of the time there is an indefinable step between the ones I've listed. So far I've wrote it in chronilogical order, however what happens next is always fuzzy after I come back. However, I do meet the same entity(s) every time.

The entity I meet I call Teo, after the aboriginal term for the mushroom Teonanacatl. I guess you could call him my guide, but just using that term makes me feel new agey, so instead let's just say he's my buddy Smile

Teo will show up just about everytime, and he/she/it (feels like a he) is very hard to describe in physical terms because he doesn't always show up in front of me and the times he does he never lets me focus directly on him. I have several theories about why this is but I'll save that for another thread. Anyways, if I had to describe him he is very ephemeral, sort of like when you look at really hot pavement and see the haziness that arises. That's sort of what his body looks like, except he has no discernable arms or legs, very ghost-like but soooo not intimidating. If anything, Teo is so unbelieveably jovial that it's hard not to laugh everytime he shows up, he always seems to be dancing to whatever I'm listening too as I trip or comes up to me with some sillyness of some kind or another. Part of me thinks this is to not alarm me (as I've written in another post, the supernatural has sort of always terrified me), but anyways once I'm there and meet up with this 'thing', the trip can go a variety of ways.

Sometimes, I'm shown incredible images. I've seen what the earth looks like from the lower atmosphere and being totally unaware of what I was looking at until later. Teo has shown me impossible worlds right next to this one, worlds that defy logic and understanding. Sometimes he doesn't show me anything and instead teaches me lessons (see my signature) via telepathy. He has given me these life lessons:

Teo: Rule #1, are you ready!? Let's take it from the top! Rule #1... who you are... can't be described!!!
Teo: Rule #2, when your feeling lost just ask yourself... where do you really think you are right now?
Teo: This is always your problem when you come here (hyperspace), you're so busy trying to figure out how everything works that we never have time to do anything fun!
Teo: Rule #3, you have limited beliefs... you were more fun when you were a kid...

And so on. On my most profound trip, Teo took me as far out into hyperspace as I have ever been. On this trip (which to this day has been my most profound on any substance) Teo brought me into a place that was spherical in shape. In the center of this sphere was a small gem that looked very much like our universe (and I had the understanding that is was). The 'walls' of this place were a bright neon green and were slowly rotating counterclockwise. As I looked up, I saw Teo on the left side of my vision, and 4 other entities that looked EXACTLY like him up further in the distance. I heard, plain as day, this message:

Four Beings: Is he ready to come with us?
Teo: (looks at me) No, not yet, he's not through playing his game yet.

After this, the four beings began to disintegrate into the green membrane and I was left wtih Teo to escort me back to my body and the trip was mostly over.

Sorry for how long that was, I get very excited whenever I can talk about my experiences with Teo.

I’ve never gone through a tunnel. Usually, an intelligent cloud-like object fills my visual field and moves toward me. Once it passes through me, I’m on the other side.

I have been to the same places more than once, and I’ve seen certain types of entities more than once, but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the same individuals more than once.

@ tele – I’ve never seen a jester, although I’ve seen my fair share of “sinister/playful” types of entities.

I don't get tunnels. I usually end up in hallway kind of place. There's a door to my left, the room always looks the same.

I typically see the tunnel you are talking about as well. However for me, it usually starts as a spinning DNA double-helix molecule type structure that I get to watch for a little while before it eventually turns on its side and forms the portal/tunnel that I shoot through.

Could you describe the "elves" you see at the beginning in more detail? I've seen many elves once I have been fully immersed in hyperspace, but not right at the beginning. At the beginning of my trips I often see fairies that have thermometer-like tools which let me know when I've smoked enough to "breakthrough".

I've been to two different types of waiting areas. One is where I am stuck basically just flying down runways in tunnels turning corner after corner following this one female creature that I have seen many times (beautiful and always smiling Smile) The second type I encountered only in the beginning of my hyperspace travels, and it consisted of an abstract human-like structure (somewhat grotesque to be honest). Once I was able to focus more on what was going on and relax, I was able to make the sculpture recede into the background so I could see the rest of hyperspace before me.

So, to answer your questions fully...

I tend to see tunnels and runways in the beginning, but trying to predict what this stuff is going to do to you is damn near the definition of impossible.

I have seen and communicated with the same spirits from previous journeys quite a few times. In the beginning, I would smoke 4-5 times a night, 2-3 times a week, in 1 hour intervals, and would be able to re-enter hyperspace exactly where the previous journey left off. I would see the same spirits, they'd welcome me back, and then proceed to help me work through my issues.

I've seen the same things multiple times, but would I call it the exact same place? I don't know if I could answer that honestly.

Hope that answers your questions! Peace and Happy Journeys Smile

I don't go thru tunnels but I've been in the same waiting room more than once.

This waiting room is made of energy and light, the colors are black and white like a checker board and it rotates and I rotate with it for a few moments. Then If I took the right dose I get shot to hyperspace and that is never the same.

The beings I encounter are different all the time, but their is a couple that I remember very well;
They were 2 females entities very beautiful and made of light and they were DANCING Surprised for me on a very sensual way, kinda like playing with me just teasing me but I felt an incredible sexual energy from them . Sadly that only happen once Sad

Haha. Yes the flirty fairies I call them.

It seems a lot of you have seen the jesters as well.

For those who haven't seen it, here is my addition to the Entities section of the Hyperspace Lexicon. https://www.dmt-nexus.me...aspx?g=posts&t=25020

There are only a few truly distinct beings with recognizable personalities that SWIM has seen on multiple occasions, but there are certainly easily distinguishable types and subtypes. Since the posting of the entry, SWIM has had a lot of contact with the entities he called object or plant devas. Enough that he feels he might have to update the entry and make some subcategories...

Anyway, as far as recurring spaces go, there are certain rooms, hallways, office spaces, and control rooms in a very non-static but stylistically uniform place that SWIM thinks of like Hyperspace Central... he has thought it could even be some sort of space craft, but it usually feels undergroundish... at least that anything outside it would be another place entirely and not outdoors.

Recurring motifs include the Hallways of Always (with portals to other realities connected horizontally) & the Dimensional Elevator (which opens onto various dimensional planes) vertically.

Perhaps I will make HL entries for some of these thing when I have a wild hair.

Dissos have their own set of recurring theme spaces and entities, but that is a different story.

Out of every about 650 spice trips I almost always see somebody running in infinite space. I am yet to understand why.
*Any time The word "I" is used by this account it is referring to a fictional character *

Hi,

I have witness a similar place few times on changa with 'Distant System - Spiral Empire' first track 'Astropolis' on sound system. That tune is divine! Beats starts at 4:10 min so I start to suck GVG at 3:40 to synchronize the start of carrier wave with the song. Changa doesn't send me to vortex or tunnel, she creeps on me and I experience the time slowing down (or my mind working faster?). If I'm lucky (took right dose) at some point the time stops (the song stops) and i'm experiencing a very profound synesthesia, I hear, see, feel the music (very slowly playing again) and all my senses like melt together. I call this 'the changa song'. Then I forget myself, I become just a witness in triptamine dimension.

It's a wast blue temple with cupola roof. I lie on the floor looking up. I'm not in the middle of the temple, just close to the wall. There is a globe hanging in the middle of the temple, high under the cupola roof. It's plasma globe, changing colors. Somehow I know it's a star to which this temple is dedicated. I stare at the star and I know it's the GOD of local part of universe, its own star system. The walls of the temple are covered with ornaments and pictures, all in variations of blue, purple. If a picture catch my eye it burst into unbelievable beautiful colors (which exist only in dmt dimension) and become meaningful.
In the pictures I see the people of this star system working on the fields, or they building something like pyramid and so on...
They build a totem like statues of their GODS too.

I love this blue temple, I always hope to see it again. There are some variations of course, The Star become alive (gets a face) or it's replaced with godhead like entity from beginning. But temple seems to be the same every time. I know this temple, I remember it from previous trips. Only ones I fell a fear inside and it was all my fault (alcohol + changa out of boredom), so I've been taught the lesson.

With straight DMT (over 40mg almost for sure) it is usually a launch into the vortex. Very fast, entities are there too. I see fairies often and jesters too. Fairies fly around me in the tunnel, their bodies getting longer and longer, and they bend like snakes. Those I saw more than once. I remember jesters from changa trips too.

And must not forget 'the evil children playing with strange futuristic gadgets!'. They give me an evil eye, angry by my presence.'Very happy

very interesting thread.

for me, most of my trips are completely different, however i have had a couple that took me on a path so to speak.
beginning with small fractal shapes that turn slowly and combine with mirroring fractal shapes that create a new shape, that new shape then spins and combines again. it kinda has a zooming outward feel to it. once everything is done shifting i am left with one big image, the big picture, a door maybe? this is where i usually stop moving forward. It's no tunnel, but it does resemble the following a tunnel process.

there is one entity in particular that i usually always see, a jester trying to give me something. I can never look at him directly but i see his figure and his arms extended to me, nothing in his hands at all. He assures me there is indeed something there i am just not looking properly.

as above, so below

im starting to get some recuring places and also some recuring themes(i keep watching things on giant floating plasma screens). i have never encountered any type of tunnels but i do get a morphing monolith type structure at the begining of most of my trips, it feels like this structure is somehow a key to my hyperspace experiences.

I'm often taken to similar children's rooms and other much harder to describe places. There are a handful of entities that I've seen countless times and so I'd like to believe that there is something important about them. I rarely have entities that communicate with me in some understandable way. It's usually rhythmic strings of alien sounds which I have no idea what they mean, and then there are other times, where I don't hear the sounds, but rather I can sense my thoughts occuring in quick rhythmic timing in an identical manner to how the sounds are produced. I've noticed that certain entities make certain kinds of sounds with certain kinds of rhythms. As a result, when I had an experience in pitch blackness, even though I was having a hard time seeing exactly what was going on, just based on the rhythms of the sounds, I could tell what entity was accompanying me. Most of these recurring entities are not human-like in any way. They are these amalgamations of abstract/asymmetrical geometries. They usually seem to somehow be in charge of what's going on in hyperspace at the time.

I have a particular amount of respect for a certain type of entity that I often see because when I had my white light experience and encountered the godhead, there were two of them on either side of me. They were these giant golden puzzle piece entities, soaring through the white light alongside me as they made very loud (but pleasing) electronic sounds in their classic rhythms. I began to think they were my guardians of sorts. I later read in some esoteric tradition (may have been buddhism, can't remember) that on either side of you is an "angel". On one side, the angel writes down all the positive things you think and do and on the other side is the negative scribe. Reading that reminded me of my above experience, but who knows.

SWIM hasn't experienced tunnels quite as described above, but often sees the same entities on successive journeys. One is familiar enough to be called "Thing." Thing appears at the beginning of the journey and has the appearance of a tornado. Sometimes Thing becomes more defined in humanoid shape with smaller swirling tornadoes for hands and face, and is definitely interacting with SWIM - making "eye" contact and projecting feeling while dancing around to some funky rhythm. On a good trip Thing will reflect the feeling that DMT feels really good and SWIM's body loves it! Other times Thing is pissed off, comes screaming at SWIM, questioning why he is there, and proceeds to thrash around, kicking all the psychic books off their shelves and flinging them around the room and then storming away. Hate it when that happens...

More commonly at the end of a trip when SWIM becomes aware of his surroundings but is still at the carnival, these tetrahedronal shaped fish/bird/bat like entities appear and just float around, mouths opening and closing in rhythm as if they are breathing. They are always purple and shaped a bit like angel fish, and seem happily content with just being. Who wouldn't be happy just floating around in hyperspace? They nearly always appear when a good trip has been experienced, and if SWIM had any drawing talent he could make an image of them since he's seen them so many times.

SWIM is feeling the pull to go back in, having pretty much recovered from a nightmarish trip a couple months ago which will be written about here soon. Long story short - use a scale!!!
A scale is a wonderful thing. Everything else posted by CS is lunatic fiction.

It could even be that they are not jesters, I feel like they are jesters due to the matter that they seem to wear something that reminds of a jester's hat on their heads and their colourful outfit/bodies. There are plenty of those beings in my experiences, and they almost always have different attitudes.

I would totally loan my elves the money to buy a thermometer like that, all the weird stuff they come up with and no thermometer. Rolling eyes
The elves come out of the woodwork after the first good toke, they ooze out of the walls and other objects. It's really hard to see them sometimes because it's like they're morphing rainbow geometric things about a 1' give or take 6" tall. You can see their faces in glimpses though, sometimes for longer. It's very Picasso-esque but much more colorful and very intricately detailed in rainbows. Some peoples descriptions of 'jesters' seem to almost match these.

Yeah, tunnel doesn't seem like a good word to use. It's like being inside of an unfolding calabi-yau shape, I just didn't think anybody else would know what that was. I didn't want to make people google anything.

I love everybody's name for their beings, mine are my 'buddies' as in "hey buddy! Long time no see, I love what you did with the place!". I'm so glad other people have recurring themes! I was starting to think I'd done it too many times and my mind and expectations were influencing my trip.

@curiousseeker, can't wait to read it!

There are some things.

Interesting thread,
Most of my experiences(breakthroughs) are surprisingly similar. I don't try to gear my experience, I prefer to just see what the spice has to offer me. I don't go through a tunnel, rather hyperspace sort of emerges around me out of some multi-colored geometric crystal figure. I have always seen the same parts which include the entities showing me things, 3-d diamond structures with multi-colored patterns on every face, these patterns include snakes and bubble letters which are unreadable.
I do occasionally see new things, including images from our real world, but these are far more rare for me and they just intersect the main trip.

ISince a trip where I was with the ethereal gears of the universe who let me know I'm God, my trip changed and now everytime it is exactly the same, I just notice different details. I feel/see this liquid of life. It's hot and cold, its a tincture. It is alchemy. It is a delicate balance and I have to stay calm in there or things get bad. I can't remember the geometry, but everytime I toke, I hear the sound, and say, here we go again. It feels/intuition says its the end of the road, the thing of all existence, like okay, you shouldn't be here anymore, this is as far as anyone can go, even God. I started to notice occult symbols that on one hand hypnotize one to delete the memory of this place, and to keep it held together, its bound by magick. It leaves me shaking in fear but I stay calm or it becomes unbalanced and scary. They also say I'm the keeper of the spice. I think there is purple, clear, yellow, and not sure about the other colors, as I said, it hypnotizes me and wipes the memory. It doesn't like incense because it pollutes the alchemy going on. Very pure, delicate, yet powerful. I've tried music, but it keeps me sober, I take off the headphones, and go right into the same place, same sound. Never fails to be the same.
Well, y'know, it's like this experience that I had was like, y'know, erm, it was kind of the most profound experience I've had in me life, like

I know what you mean about the same 'tunnel' at the beginning. Also there's something so unbelievably strange about how spice visuals usually come up for me which always gives me the strangest feeling of deja vu (even the first time I did it), but usually when I'm about to place where or how I felt that feeling before something either a lot more intense or interesting comes up and forces me to forget about the deja vu. The feeling is always: "I've been here before, but when?"
