Did you freebase the seeds (i.e. making a paste of them with water and sodium carbonate or calcium hydroxide)? You mention no such step. If you didn't make that, then what you get is unlikely to be bufotenine.

And even if you did that, then after adding acetone-citric acid you must have gotten bufotenine citrate, which is not the best for smoking.
