There is a lot of amazing art lost within the depths of the Nexus and searching trough
all the threads to find it can be tedious.
So why not collect all the Artists that members have posted
trough the years in one single thread.

My thought is to make it simple.

Post links to homepage, galleries and maybe some general information like wikipedia
or something.
Then choose a picture that you think represents the artist to go with the post.
Simple!

I'll post some first and hopes this catches fire

(I'm thinking about visual art like paintings, drawings and sculptures)

There's some good art on Wingmakers that comes from an anomymous source(channelled?) and is for the purpose of advancing humankind. Here's an excerpt from the site...

"The WingMakers' music, art, and word symbols are designed to stimulate the ILN region to act as a synchronizing mechanism for human consciousness and the Genetic Mind. I realize this is difficult to comprehend, but as research into this brain function ensues over the next twenty years, it will be proven that the ILN is a key "engine" in synchronizing the human-soul consciousness to the fine-grain consciousness of the Genetic Mind, making the Genetic Mind accessible for short bursts at will.

There is within the thalamocortical system what scientists refer to as the reticular thalamic nucleus (nRt). It's widely accepted by neuroscience that nRt plays a vital role in the judicious regulation of the flow of neural information between the thalamus and cortex. What is not understood is how specific sensory information (light frequencies, sound frequencies, rhythmic synchronization, ULF, symbolic images) can influence how the ILN and nRt systems interoperate to form a hybrid functional cluster that enhances fluid intelligence and accessibility to the Genetic Mind. This discovery is yet twenty years in the making, but it will occur, and the WingMakers will play a critical role in this discovery."

My favorites of the ones you posted are Meredith Dittmar, Luke Brown (that Salvia vision you posted is so fantastic), and Jen Stark (but only the sculptures of his).

Not related to psychedelics but still really cool is http://vimeo.com/7235817 which is a sound art installation.

I LOVE THAT GUY!!! His art sums up the parts of trips that are impossible for me to describe. The part where the human self gives way and something "higher" is revealed. Something of divinity, peace, love, and something which is immortal withthout form. Something that does not have personal consciousness, yet is more conscious and all knowing than I could possibly imagine. And though I say it does not have personal consciousness, it is at the same time me, and I am it. When I reach that point, it transcends everything. When I get there, I think, "Oh my God..... there really is no need to worry about anything" (speaking existentially, not practically).

If I could express myself artistically like him, I would post trip reports that look like this http://art-of-the-shaman...ronic-Shamanic-187050452

My Friend, You honor me , Your kind words are exactly why I paint such things as "Chronic shamanic", I could not have said it any better. These visions I doodle are my hope to share that higher spirit with the viewer -and by doing so also lift them to that higher place that I have witnessed on my journeys, ...I need to share that.

and you should know : I had never painted a picture before. It was because of kind ppl like You and your fellow Nexus community that gave me the information and will power to try Salvia and Spice back in April, these entheogens opened up a door of artistic desire in me that I could not deny and had to try painting as a way to express all of this wonder and excitement I was experiencing ,... now I paint all the time and I really love it.

This forum and the introduction to the psychedelic realm have changed my life for the better~!

so - Thank you Apoc , and all the Nexus~! I appreciate the love ~ Right back at ya~!

Oh, you are that guy! Yeah, I guess I'm good with words and you're awesome with paintings. It's amazing because there is something very simplistic about your work, yet it is by no means simple. You say you are a beginner at painting, which is why I am shocked and amazed that you could put it all together like that on a singe page with no painting experience. Thanks for your awesome work, and the reminders that your art gives in the normal world.
