IMO, I think the risk for the intended dosage is non-existent.

As with most tests with mice, its an extract is used at hundreds of thousands of times the recommended dosage.

for example, various dissociative anaesthetics (ketamine, dxm, etc.) were tested to cause brain lesions in mice, but what it did not seem to mention clearly enough, is that dosage was something like 1000x times the recreational dosage, and administered daily for months.

For over 50 years many users have abused these substances to extremely dangerous levels, and for long periods of time, there was no evidence of this brain damage ever occuring in humans.

Same goes for kirkii in my experience, it's a herb that has been used by tribes in Africa for hundreds, probably thousands of years.

You would be at the same risk for tumors or other serious bodily damage if you consume ungodly amounts of anything, like ayahuasca for instance.

Overdosing yourself with anything, is very like to cause damage, or have carcinogenic effects.

Experiments have shown, testing in animals , Tannic acid (which is present in coffee, tea, and MIMOSA) will cause liver tumors in animals, and has been linked to esophageal cancer in humans.

Tests on mice have proved black pepper to be carcinogenic.
