It was my first time doing mushrooms, so I chose to do only two grams. I weighed them out, grinded it, mixed it with honey, and ate it.
My plan was to go to Central Park if I felt comfortable, otherwise stay home.
After about an hour I start to feel the effects; compared to my previous psychedelic experiences the visuals were not that strong, barely any distortions.
I decide I am comfortable enough to go to the park and after gathering my things, I'm on my way.
Although I felt pretty sober, I was very aware of, well, everything. Mainly my posture, facial expression, and my walk, but also the same of other people.

When I got to the park my main task was to find a place where I could be alone, which can be a hard thing in Central Park.
I end up walking down a path when I come up a fork in the road.
On my left the path I was on continued on to a lake, but on my right there was an uphill path that had arrows drawn in chalk begging you to follow it, of course.
Of course, I fell for the temptation. The arrows led to a small, circular area that was slightly elevated. Before reaching the summit, there was a message:

"Breath Deep"

For the past couple of weeks I had been very conscious about my breathing, after starting to practice breathing meditation. Hmm, interesting I thought.

The area had a couple of wooden benches, and besides the two paths that led up to it was surrounded by the forest. On the ground, the arrows led up to another message:

"Breath Deep - Moving Through You - IT'S GOD"

Hmm, this is really interesting. Central Park, New York City, and on this lonely, beautiful, area someone took the time to create, well, a piece of art.

Behind the benches there seems to be an area well secluded, so I settle down there.

I lay on my back and breathe. Ecstasy. God.

Two roads diverged in a wood..

To all of you that found God in a forest on shrooms.

I don't take credit for this! I read it on some experience report and I thought it was lovely, thought I would pass it along. I feel it's the perfect thing to say about a mushroom trip.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
