Hi to all !

I like to understand exactly what I'm doing here :
Extracting following Ron's now famous d-limonene tek.

Could someone who know his chemestry explain what's happening to the mescaline step by step ?
And the reasons to add all ingredients ?

Thanks for this tek. Thanks for all of your patience and passion !

J.

It's a standard STB tek.
The basified (with lime) mix contains freebase mesc which will then migrate to your NPS (limonene).
Vinegar (acetic acid) is then used to salt out the mesc from the NPS and evapped to yield mecaline acetate (salt form).

Thank you.
My chemestry past is getting further and further away from the present.
To bad I wasn't doing that in school, it would've sunk in a little more...

There is much more motivation for the knowledge to sink in now.
Even if you don't enjoy chemistry, it's hard to ignore the excitement of extractions. Have fun Smile
