Many years ago when the gerbil was in high school he picked cubes in cow pastures. He had a grand time until one night he foolishly ate some picked by another gerbil. Most of what he ate must have been good ones because he was certainly trippin balls. But, he had terrible stomach pains and not a good time at all.

He tried again a few months later and didn't enjoy himself at all because he was nervous again about being poisoned...although that was all in his mind.

So now he's all grown up and can make sure that he is eating clean well cared for cubes... but what strain?

I've always thought that cubes are cubes...but Ive read a few threads that seem to lead me otherwise. What would be a nice easy grow, good hearted strain?

Thanks in advance

SWIM's in the middle of her first grow right now, and it's been great so far. She went with Hawaiian and Argentinian, based off of this thread.

Ive always heard this...

A cube is a cube is a cube.

but then again my buddy just got done with some PF albino's from Sporeworks. 3 oz of first flush and they were Extremely potent. as in 3.5 of those were better than 5 grams golden teachers. It is multi-spore so it might just be luck of the draw.

It seems on the shroomery most people tend to get golden teachers or B+ for their first time. I would say go with one you think looks the best.

BTW sporeworks is a wonderful, and very fast vendor.

B+ is usually pretty easy for newbies, and fairly gentle..

The gerbil plans on buying a pre sterilized monotub boxes thats all ready for colonization. I understand that they are idiot proof. He feels like he may be robbing himself of some of the experience, but he wants to make sure he gets a look at the operation from a good baseline before he makes his full-leap. Plus he lives in a condo so it should be easier to maintain a GF friendly amount of mess. I think I will try either B+ of Hawaiian
