For my friend, music is a big part of the traveling experience. He feels it ushers him in and out of the other world. He's tried several different things, and realizes he prefers calm, melodic music.

His go to album everytime is by an artist, Eluvium, entitled 'Copia'. There are only a few 9+ minute tracks, but they are good.

I love the "spa" channel (73) on my sirius radio!!!

All ambient music, no commecials and very few repeats. I like how it's random, I never know what is coming next!!
Music can inflouence the experience in so many different ways.

I also have a recording of a solo harpist playing these beautiful, flowing songs that go too well with the DMT world. The harp had to be created to try and make a sound like what heaven probably sounds like.

What ever the sounds, I always have the volume barely audible. Just on the verge of not being there at all. When the spice starts coming on, my hearing is always amplified and if the music is too loud it bothers me, its like I can't tune it out so I can't concentrate enough for a breakthrough.

Muse! Specifically the Black Holes and Revelations CD. Each song is unique in style and melody. and some songs are epic and some are really slow.

Very nice to trip to IMO.

I've also always wondered what it would be like to go all the way deep breakthrough to something like a hardass Slipknot song or something like that.. Not exactly my thing but it'd definitely be interesting.. hectic as a hell i'd think

I do not engage in or condone illegal activities. Most of what I write is on behalf of people I've bumped into, usually several years ago and in countries where the things I mention are legal.

"Banco de Gaia" for me, particularly CD2 of the "Last Train To Lhasa" album. That said, silence if fine for spice travel.

Shpongle is quite hilarious on ayahausca...seems to fit ideally with a journey...especially when Terence mckenna starts talking in different parts!

I like listening to Björk or Massive Attack when going on a journey. Not the loud and crazy songs, but the melodic and calm ones, sometimes the more sinister ones.
