too much acid? Options

Just wondering what would happen if i made the water too acidic..

For example, instead of ph 4 if i made it ph 1-2, would that mean i would need more lye to basify?

yeah sure that would mean you would need more lye to basify... but appart from that, I dont see any problem.. I've never read anything about dmt degrading in very acidic pH or anything of the sort

You may extract some additional rubbish from the acacia but nothing to really worry about. As mentioned it just takes longer to base so more work.
