I'll add that Rainbow is in a particularly unique position in that it's completely free of charge - so a lot of people who have nothing end up coming, some in expectation of free food and shelter. (There's a lot of crossover with the Occupy movement in this sense.) But while there may be a lot of "Drainbows" who use up resources without contributing time and effort, these people are in the vast minority, and often experience a sea change just by existing inside Rainbow's karma-magnifying atmosphere.

NEXUS MEET UP IS A YES! let's do it. and as far as 2012 location for the u.s. gathering, they say that they typically do not make an official decision until around the month before the gathering. the only consensus right now is basically somewhere along the appalachian mountains.
