Hey all, I am just wondering if anyone is AUS has experience with medical cannabis and treating chronic pain ?

I am waiting for a phone call today from my cannabis doctor to start me on on medical cannabis , I already smoke upto around an ounce for a week and a bit if it’s crap pot it usually lasts 5-6 days.

I am concerned they may under prescribe me and end up having to buy more street weed .

Sorry this isn’t in the cannabis area but I am unable to post there , my profile may seem to have 90 or so posts but they are not real the forum must of glitched or something .

Update : I am upto last approval of the government the TGA process , the doctor was confident that I will pass , but because I drive I am only able to have access to CBD, which I am fine with , I just hope I can replace my smoking habit and the cbd works just as well as the unknown thc/cbd content of street weed .

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I started importing CBD extract from PharmaXtracts in the vaping cartridges a few months ago to treat chronic back pain I've suffered on and off for at least the last 10 years (I have a nasty habit of repeatedly pinching back nerves in the gym).
While it did sort of work, I found I had to vape so much that it soon became too expensive to continue long term.
I just went back to smoking full spectrum weed from the black market, which is not only cheaper for me, but IME works way better for my pain relief due to the "high" helping me disassociate from the pain.

The other thing is the CBD would take a bit longer for me to notice any improvement, whereas with THC/CBD I feel better within 5 minutes.

Thanks Shadow.

Yer I’m just a bit worried about drug testing at the moment , the cannabis doctor won’t prescribe THC if you drive untill laws change, fingers crossed ! Can’t wait for it to be legal ! Soon hopefully
