SWIM often performs STB extractions, however, due to his location, he regularly encounters 2 problems; high humidity, and the unavailability of solvents like Naptha and Heptane. While DMT is legal where he resides, he is forced to use unregulated Petroleum Ether in his extractions, as no other viable solvents are available. SWIM generally has incredibly goopy and dirty pulls which SWIM washes several times over before finally getting a small yeild. So SWIM would like to know if it is possible to do a wash before setting the solvent for freeze precip. That is to say, after siphoning off the solvent, instead of putting it directly into the glass container, gather it into one or two shotglasses. Then heat up some water to nearly boiling, and set the two glasses in the hot water for a couple of minutes, just as you would in a wash cycle. Would this be fruitfull? Would the sediment eventually sift to the bottom of the shotglass for a cleaner pull? Would there be any benefit (or practicality) to using this meathod?
