I was sold a vine as black ayahuasca. How can I identify it as being the black variety of banisteriopsis caapi vs alicia anisopetala? Thank you for your consideration.

In New York, we wrote the legal number on our arms in marker...To call a lawyer if we were arrested.
In Istanbul, People wrote their blood types on their arms. I hear in Egypt, They just write Their names.

It is too small to cut a cross section. 1cm in diameter. What should I look for when I can cut into it without damaging it too dramatically?

why do you want to cut it ? we asked to post a cross section, like you know take your camera or mobile phone with camera, and take a picture of the cross section. do'nt cut it please. just capture an image, like no physical cut it and bring it here which wouldn't be convenient either way Pleased

Does it look like the pieces in this picture? If so, it's likely anisopetala.

The definition of the word cross section as I understand it is "A surface or shape that is or would be exposed by making a straight cut through something". I will reference the other thread when its mature enough to be cut. Thank you SnozzleBerry!
