Hello, I've extracted DMT from Mimosa Hostillas Root Bark.

The first batch I worked with was already processed in to a nice fine powder, it produced a soft yellow waxy powder. The second batch was freshly chopped / shredded root, same plant, which I then blended myself in the blender in to a fine string, didn't quite turn to powder.

I did the extraction method exactly the same for both, but the new batch is a white crystal, the original batch a yellow waxy powder. What's the reason behind this? and is the white crystal fine? If anyone knows what causes the changes.

Thank you!

Hello. It could be many things. At the top of my list would be the solvent pull. A colder naphtha pull can give whiter stuff. How sure are you the extraction process was identical?

It is possible it was colder the second time yes, though not massively different...
