I am about to embark on my first DMT voyage and I have some questions about how to consume it. I feel prepared (as prepared as someone can be) for the actual experience, but I'm not sure about the logistics. In order to avoid the harshness of smoking DMT, I want to vaporize it. I read that DMT will 'taint' whatever device is used to vape it, so I am going to use one of my spare Silver Surfer vapes with an extra whip. I have a few questions about using this SSV:

Temperature - How hot should the SSV be set? If the dial is like a clock, the 'off' position is about 7 o'clock and the 'max' position is about 5 o'clock. I set it for about '1:30' (between 1 o'clock - 2 o'clock) for vaping marijuana, which is ~ 350 - 400 degrees.

Oil diffuser - I don't have the oil kit for the SSV. Should I get it, or will a regular whip be good? It seems like the oil kit would make the process a little easier, but it's also $100 and would take a while to arrive after ordering. Plus, I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to use any of the oil kit for future marijuana use due to the DMT residue.

'Padding' - I think the standard wire mesh is going to be too wide for powdered DMT, and some will fall down the whip if I try loading it with pure powder. Should I load the chamber up with some weed and then sprinkle DMT on top? Most of the accounts that I have read have stated that the vaping temp for DMT is lower than weed, so it sounds like the DMT would be the only thing to burn in that situation. However, I have also heard that some people max out the SSV temp when using, so I guess this is dependent on the answer that I get for the temperature question that I asked earlier.

Any help is truly appreciated. I'm somewhat experienced in shrooms and Lucy, but this is the first time I'll be hanging out with our friend Dimitri and I want to make it the best experience possible!
