Congrats friend!

How did you identify it?

Also, would you be willing to do some tests on the leaves/small branches to see if they also contain the alkaloids of interest? That would help with sustainability, instead of using roots or bark which is more tricky to do it without hurting the plant! Id help sending your extract sample to a lab to know exactly what it contains

I had observed Formosan Koa(Acacia Confusa) in Taiwan and had various images with me.

I am planning to try its leaves, root bark, stem bark, trunk bark, seeds and flowers for alkaloids.
I will start extraction after a week as i have some business to take care of.
Will keep everyone posted.

Look inside yourself for the answers you seek.Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up

Stop

NO ROOTS!

NO BARK FROM THE MAIN TRUNK!

That tree has been growing a long time, if you damage it's trunk or roots you will kill it. If you treat it respectfully, that tree will still be there for you grandchildren's grandchildren.

You can carefully cut a peripheral branch (coming off of the main trunk) and remove the bark from that if you must experiment with the bark.

Please do not kill the tree so you can get some drugs. Don't do it!!!

Harvesting and killing trees that are older than the people that cut them down to extract psychoactive substances or to make a buck is total shame. Thumbs down

I dont like this kind of action and i dont understand why one would need to kill a whole tree to extract, i mean there is plenty of already cheap bark online, and why would one extract more than 50-100g bark? 100g bark - 2% yield - 2g = 40 trips (50mg each which is high dose)

When i see people extracting 1-2kg its more than obvious to me what is the deal.
1kg - 2% yield - 20g - 400 trips (50mg each)

Even a """DMT ADDICT"" would find it a challenge to smoke 50mg 400 times in his life time.

I am not going to harm the tree.

The root bark would be cut from a periphery of the longest root birch.
I will use organic neem oil for spraying on the cut openings so that they don't rot.

I only need a little amount to figure out the alkaloids.
We (me and the herb) are connected to each other by the same energy force which runs the universe so we progress together.

If the tree doesnt die at the end i guess it would be ok, but please work carefully and read how to properly harvest tree root so you dont kill it.
Good Luck Thumbs up

Hi I am from India too., Have you tried extracting it? I am searching for confusa, haven't found anything yet, but I have found Acacia auriculiformis, which contains 5 Meo DmT.

Hi, I'm writing from India as well. Currently in Andhra Pradesh. I'm working on an agroforestry project here on the NGO's farm. I believe there is an acacia catechu and an acacia auriculiformis on the farm land. Both are fully mature. Been learning to responsibly source locally available sources of DMT and learn how to extract them. Anybody has any experience with these species?
