I have a short question. When I want to edit a post, how do I do this? I recently edited a post and pressed the button ‘Post’. I expected the post to be an updated version. But to my surprise a new post was created.

How to edit a post without creating a new one?

on your post you should see normally the "Edit" button at the top right corner of your post.
Try to empty your browser cache then retry Thumbs up

Thanks for the reply. I did press the button ' Edit ' on the right top. After this I made my corrections.

But what then? I did press the button ' Post ' and a new post was created. So the original post was not replaced by the corrected one. This can not be right. So how to save the update without creating a second post?

That is strange .... because you should only be renewing your old post.

No matter how old it is or what other reason it may be - clicking

1. EDIT

[editing your text and then ...]

2. POST

should only update your post in the way that you obviously want to.

Maybe try it another time with the next post you give here in this thread - it NEVER happened to me like this and did a lot of corrections : O
