My question has more to do with dosages and breakthroughs. Are they all the same' as in once you are there you are there? And if you can break through with 30 mgs is there a point at breaking through at 50? Or are there varying degrees of the breakthrough experience?

And on a side note is ego death experienced with all breakthroughs? Or are there breakthrough trips where you don't "lose yourself" at all? My experience with dmt is limited ( only 4 trips at 15 to 20 mgs) all of which I was in an all encompassing white room and amazing colours but was still 100 percent attached to this reality and who I was. basically is ego a common experience on breakthrough doses ?

Just when I think DMT couldn't get any weirder it surprises me. It seems infinite in it's ability to, as Terence McKenna said, 'Mezmerize'.

Dosage and ROA definitely play a part in how intense the experience is. I have found that past a certain point it just becomes a white out and I remember nothing. Dial it back a few if this occurs. Ego disolution is common in a medium to higher dose although I have had strong experiences and felt I was still well.. me. I don't think anything is set it stone as far as what you can experience.

Keep working with it and gradually work your dose up. Experiment. Find a dose that has the intensity you desire. If the experience was underwhelming, up the dose. If it is overwhelming, lower the dose. Find your sweet spot. Mine is 30-40mgs depending on how intense I want my experience. I find no need personally to go past 40mgs.

If losing your ego is what you are after with these experiences, may I suggest meditation. Quiet the mind before hand and you may find it a bit easier to let go. I find doing this empties the vessel, so to speak, ready to be filled with something else.

Awesome thanks! I have plenty of spice to experiment with so I'll have fun doing so. Ego death isn't my aim though, I've experienced it on mushrooms once. The thought though just gives some pre flight jitters is all lol. I'm slowly upping my dose every few trips so I'm not just blindsided by the trip ( although I've heard there really is no preparing for it regardless of how many times you trip ).

Its full of surprises yes but it also has some standard flavors.
While always amazing there are certain themes that happen and repeat.
I've tracked it over the course of years now and after a while you start to remember things.
I think there are many levels to breakthroughs and a definite evolution to them over time.

The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible.
