I love these little guys! It's been painfully dry and warm here, according to a lot of other hunters they are coming up empty, but to boast a little, this has been the best ever for me and the love keeps growing.

This spot is a few acres and shared with tons of wildlife,, awesome place to hunt (and partake!) and I've located 6 separate patches there! So far over 12 pounds fully mature specimens harvested, 100s of pins setting at this moment...it's magic!

After a couple days of cold rain we went to check on it and found lots of new growth and even a totally new patch. I've also drenched the place with about 6 gallons worth of black spore slurry...next year...Big grin

Plus some of the ones left to grow during the"drought" didn't mature and went black from frost?

EDIT EDIT EDIT: i dunno why it takes so long to upload sometimes...and e why some are sideways and others upside down...ughConfused

“There is a way of manipulating matter and energy so as to produce what modern scientists call 'a field of force'. The field acts on the observer and puts him in a privileged position vis-à-vis the universe. From this position he has access to the realities which are ordinarily hidden from us by time and space, matter and energy. This is what we call the Great Work."
― Jacques Bergier, quoting Fulcanelli
