Hi guys,

While reading up on how to make changa I ran into something I don't understand:

Besides the Caapi leaves, I also have the option of ordering harmine freebase or harmine salt.
- which would be easier to work with? I'd guess the salt, as it is more soluble...
- Is it correct I'd need about double the amount of harmine as opposed to using harmala? (I can't order extracted
- Or should I just make 10x caapi leave myself?

Also:
A friend of mine (we both enjoy a fine whisky from time to time) came up with this crazy idea while we were discussing the process of making changa:
What would happen if, instead of IPA, you used whisky(40%, if you go cask strength you might even find alcohol% of up to 57%, if % matters) to dissolve your spice and harmine in, and simply drank it? Call it a whiskyuasca Smile
