You will get the message either way. You already know the message.

Been leaning towards ayahuasca so i think that would be better for healing purposes.

Ayahuasca is the better one in my opinion. similar effects but the duration is longer with Ayahuasca and therefore will make a deeper impact on your soul!

Ayahuasca cured my addictions in one sessionThumbs up

Good luck in your quest to stop your alcohol problem

I agree with ayahuasca, but I'm a beginner. When you get the dose right and break through it's incredibly moving, and may not be pleasant. But it gives you much more time to reflect and explore. I came to a lot of deep conclusions during and after my most intense session, and re-connected to who I wanted to be when I was a child. It can bevery powerful.

Yeah I can absolutely relate to that. For me it revived a part of myself that I was lacking since I was a kid. Unfortunately I did not work on integrating this experience with all the energy I have but was kind of winging it as I got back into everyday life.

So to the initial poster: I would also suggest to go with the longer acting Ayahuasca because in my experience it tends to have a deeper and more profound effect on the psyche just because of its duration. Just make sure that if you decide to go down that path that you carefully integrate the experience into your life after taking whatever you eventually choose to take. Taking it is the easy part in my opinion. The work after is way more challenging depending on how severely one wants or needs to change his life after the experience.

Personally for me it's freebase /changa. Maybe if you get blasted to the center of the universe you might actually learn to appreciate your sober mind lol. The guy that created alcohol anonymous used lsd to stop drinking. Why not give lsd a try?

That might be true haha. I have tried acid and mushrooms many times, those actually kicked me and woke me up to realize this situation.

I'll probably get attacked for saying this but you're not going to get much more out of ayahuasca than you did with those other substances . I don't believe Aya is the best psychedelic for addiction. Out of all the substances I've used it caused the most anxiety and that's the last thing anyone needs coming off of drugs. I would use lsd, cactus or mdma. Something that will allow you to have a spiritual experience without causing you to have a complete mental breakdown Laughing.. I would wait about a year to try Ayahuasca if you suffer from anxiety and depression. Let your brain normalize first. Best of luck Smile...

To each their own, its a complex problem. I believe all 4 have their benefits and can help one overcome addiction if used correctly and supplemented with the appropriate guidance and healing. Just to expand on what you mentioned, the 4 substances can be very different. Ayahuasca can be a forced and wildly-abrupt shift in reality giving you a new perspective which after all is essential to change. You need to get out of your normal every-day reality and know there is another new way to think about problems. There is also the spiritual side of it which can be found all over this forum. LSD, particularly the tail-end of the experience, can give you the time needed in that head-space to actually cognize the issues at hand and seek a new perspective. Some may argue that it “feels synthetic” and what you put in is all you will get out of it. Cacti can be in between there somewhere a bit of the best of both worlds IMHO. It has a healing culture around it that seems to be almost built-in. Real MDMA is used correctly is perhaps the most useful pharmaceutical of our time for healing, its no wonder it was banned. It can really work but must be used constructively and with proper intent and direction. I find it to be a great crime that it was taken away from psychologists.

Developing a relationship with Salvia div has given me an ergonomic tool for mitigating psycho-physical imbalances. Be it, over consumption of alcohol or obsessive porn/fap.

Once acquainted with deeply dissociative Salvia space, modest quid doses provide a brief and practical "grounding" effect that can be useful as one strives for a more healthy relationship with substances as well as emotional states, including depression.

It really is more about how you approach the plant medicine of choice as opposed to the exact teacher/ROA used. Most behavioral/emotional issues need grappled with over time. Typically no magic pills for instant cure!

Find a teacher your resonate with, study diligently, become your own expert and develop a relationship that can called upon OVER TIME to assist you on YOUR path. The plants are but reminders of what you already know, it's a matter of mindfully re-membering, time and again over the long haul.

Peace

Both can have of equal benefit and/or drawbacks, depending on the individual. Best for you to experiment and choose wisely.

Regarding the breathing issue with smoked/vaped delivery, the sensation of not being able to notice or feel your breathing is incredibly common and par the course, a step on the path to the unfoldment of the experience as it does. Try not to be alarmed by that. Over time and with experience you can become more or less used to that sensation.

Not to mention the rapidity and sudden onset of the vaped/smoked experience, that coupled with thet sensation ..definitely can seem alarming.

Your body knows what it's doing during those moments. Thumbs up
