Sam Harris on his waking up podcast recently interviewed Michael Pollan about his new book on psychedelic science:

I rather root my values in my own hallucinations than in society´s neurotic illusions..

Sam is drier than the 2013 wattle creek cabernet I had last night. Big grin
One of my coworkers is a big fan though. He just told me about that book today, but I read about it from the Texas Observer a couple days ago, and found an e-copy on b-ok.xyz

For those who don't want to bother with the interview the book is called "How to Change your Mind, What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence"

https://michaelpollan.co...how-to-change-your-mind/

I haven't read it yet but excited too. Cool to have a mainstream author with a wide audience write a book like this. Apparently he tripped on a few different psychedelics to prepare for writing the book including 5-meo-dmt filled toad venom!
