You guys set this one up good, I'd be sad to see such a thing be gone in the future.

Glad that it worked this way. Razz

And be assured, this will stay for new members to enable them to show their true intentions to the membership of the DMT-Nexus. It's almost finished and only needs a small bit more tweaking.

I've swept up the shattered pieces of my head and my ego off the floor by now and yeah, i SUPPOSE it was funny.

Yes, most definitely put an end to this sort of thing.

Once and for all.

I like how you're setting the next one up with this statement....Very clever....

You totally had me going & rather flustered; I have to admit though that it was a great prank!Laughing

I would have liked it more if I was at a computer.

I hate typing on this cursed phone.
Images of broken light,
Which dance before me like a million eyes,
They call me on and on...

OK. Which one of you went and asked Yahoo to help you figure out the conditions for an alkaloid loan from the World Bank?

This is hilarious

I regretfully admit that I hid out in the welcome chat and rode out the day. I must say the welcome chat was poppin' off like I've never seen it. There were some great interactions that we normally might not have seen. All in all it was tons of fun, I just wish I had been adventurous enough to log out then came back and take a crack at the q-airre. Thanks for keeping us on our toes Traveler.

Man, I look forward to what y'all come up with every year! The jester in me has always loved April Fool's and the Nexus always does it up proper! Even made me blown my top fully knowing it's 4/1 before!Crying or very sad

Crime of crimes, I had very limited access to a terminal this year and couldn't properly play along. I absolutely refused to play along with the ahem crash thingy and did try to spit some poorly spun hmor in that thread. I did not get to look at the ???airre....aargh.

I'd love to see a glossary of all the terms that were replaced, some of those may enter my regular vernacular along with SMOALK MOAR, like mind-funble-thingy.

And I think Chrome Vigor is my new alter ego!

On a side note-
still, after all that, the evening news on TV posted temps for the week's forecast in Celsius. The guy said that the conversion math really isn't that hard to do. What th- Oh, duh.

Oh wait- WTF this thread IS the one that blew my top! LOLZ

Man, I live in the States, and the prank was much needed and appreciated by me. Relatively few April 1 pranks on news sites here-- not sure if it was because of Easter or fear that anything posted would be taken waaay too seriously.

I loved it - best April Fool's ever.

I didn't realise you had to log out and in again for the questionnaire so I missed that whole aspect. thought I was lucky that my questionnaire said it was still completed!

yes yes it is. And I'm starting to question my reality that there was something strange here a few daze ago, and wondering why the phrase "chrome vigor" keeps popping up in my conversations.

I have been eating a lot of mushrooms lately...

I didn't see any questionaire, but maybe there was one and i just went on autopilot mode, wich would mean that i just clicked it away immediately. Questionaires tend to do that to me.

I would guess it's blofeld though....the name of the cat. A bald sphynx cat named blofeld.
