I created a sound that eerily resembles the noise I've heard coming up on DMT Options

So a few days ago, I was just kinda messing around in my recording software while playing some guitar. Upon listening you can tell I got sorta side tracked.. None the less, near the end of the file, the second to last chords played (the volume is modulated to rise consistently on the lower chord played)
There's this striking sound of a lower chord trying to dominate a higher one. This sounds, to my experience, very close to the sound that dmt can produces in my head while coming up.
I'm very curious if anyone relates and also feels that similar frequency.
My thoughts instantly want to correlate high frequency with our mind and the lower empowering one to be DMT

Hm, i havn't really looked into astral projection but the people who can do it seem pretty serious about it. I can only base my thoughts from one random sleep paralysis (couldnt even feel my lungs), im very interested, did your sleep paralyses help you learn how to project or is it a result of it?? Also if you dont mind sharing what are those experiences like for you???
Anyway thanks for the feedback!

I listened to the sound mate, and then I listened again... and again.

What is it about that sound you hear? Literally guitars? Or the shimmering effect?

Given that this effect is essentially produced by feedback... perhaps the 'carrier wave' people here launching into DMT space, is a the sonic expression of DMT's alternative realities feeding back onto the morphic resonance of this one Smile

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Maybe a bit of delay and flange... certainly not the rising ringing mmmmMMMMWWWHHHHWWAAAA!!

I think feedback loops play an integral part in how the brain functions. I think that serotonin normally supresses these feedback loops, just to keep you in touch with the world around you, and to keep you grounded. So when psychedelics diminish the serotonergic activity in the brain, the feedback loops are no longer supressed. Because of the nature of the feedback loop, once a slight feedback hum becomes apparent, it will grow and grow.

So i think that what you hear is literally, the brains' own feedback hum.

Sound good to me.
But I think i feel like at least for me it has a little sharper sounds.
More like a gust of wind than a harmonic sine wave.

Yo StealthyBong, I'm really happy for you, and Imma let you finish, but Pink Floyd's Astronime Domine was one of the best depictions of The Carrier Wave of all time!

'"ALAS,"said the mouse, "the world is growing smaller every day. At the
beginning it was so big that I was afraid, I kept running and running, and I was glad
when at last I saw walls far away to the right and left, but these long walls have
narrowed so quickly that I am in the last chamber already, and there in the corner
stands the trap that I must run into." "You only need to change your direction," said
the cat, and ate it up.' --Franz Kafka

lol lots of feedback. I think I kinda got stuck on this idea of two combating frequencies, The DMT noise i've heard feels like its intruding on my normal mental "frequency". Ive only smoked a few times though, all under 35mg. I have a new finished xtract sitting around and Im hoping to have my first breakthrough. Then ill really see what this carrier wave is all about.. haha

I love coming across carrier waves in songs. I've only experienced a life shattering carrier wave once - wasn't much fun! But, I still love em.
Here's one I heard while I was in the car listening to The Lost Tapes by Can. It's a funky/skronky instrumental from the 70s (they're one of my favorite bands ever... were way better than Floyd IMO).
Carrier Wave starts building at 3:13, or just listen to the whole thing Smile

Man I know exactly the noise you speak of. Feels like tuning into a new frequency on an old radio.
The deep noise rises while a slight ring resonates, then heaven's gates, then it's light speed on my way through spaceWink
