SWIM has started working on his first extraction.
For this SWIM has soaked 400 grams of MHRB in distilled water.
This was acidefied with food grade phosphoric acid to a ph of around 3.
SWIM did 2 pulls.
Because of swims experience with making analoge ayahuasca with MHRB SWIM diddent use any heat for this part of hte extraction.
SWIM left the solution for about a week for each pull shaking the container every time it came on its path.
3 weeks later SWIM has already filtetered the solution in different ways and has almost nothing falling out of the liquid.
Now SWIM has 3.5 liters of MHRB solution.

The question.

Can SWIM boil down/reduce the solution without having complications in the a/b extraction he is going to do ?
How far could SWIM reduce the solution ?

boiling will concentrate the acid. low pH might not be a problem as long as it is defatted and then made basic within a short period of time. although your pH is already quite high its tough to say. your going to have a concentrated acid so be careful working with it.

swim can actually use a crock pot for multiple days on the acid extraction. Heat is not an issue and can help the situation. So YES swim can reduce.

Is it okay to reduce the basific sol't, so long as the sol't doesn't boil or get too basic?

SWIM is thanking for quick answers.

The PH was checked and is 4.21.
SWIM is going to reduce and he knows reducing will make more unwanted part fall out when reduced fluid is left some days

SWIM really liked this part of the work.
3.5 liter was reduced to +/- 1 liter.
This was placed in the fridge.
Next day swim decanted the liquid and on the bottum there was a thick almost black layer of tar like substance.
So out of the 400 grams of MHRB in one liter SWIM pulled 55 grams of nasty unwanteds Very happy Very happy
PH is 3.91.
