This is maybe not the smartest question but if SWIM happened to get himself an air cooled distiller (made from a modified water distiller) which is used for making herbal extracts and distilling ethanol, then what would happen if SWIM wanted to purify some old naptha? Would the naptha react to the metal in it at all? I dont think that the naptha would be anymore dangerous then purified alcohol, would it? What about other solvents?

It would be nice for SWIM to recycle old naptha but get rid of the plant oils and stuff, once all the spice is gone that is.

PS if you have a few hundred bucks there are some easy to use and great distillers out there that can be shipped internationally. (Mr. Distiller)

won't react with the metal, just keep plastics away.
and of course it's flammable. have good ventilation, away from flame/sparks
