I didn't know about this until today. I don't think it will become law, but here is some information about the bill (sponsored by Sen. Bernie Sanders). Surely worth keeping an eye on!

I'm happy to see some kind of action from at least one politician working to end the madness that is cannabis prohibition in the United States.
 

STS is a community for people interested in growing, preserving and researching botanical species, particularly those with remarkable therapeutic and/or psychoactive properties.

There was such an Act in 2015?! as state marijuana prohibitions are falling like flies?! How can some politicians be so out of touch?
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

States are indeed ending marijuana prohibition, but the federal statutes still stand, regardless. And the DEA maintains jurisdiction all the same.

Plus... This could help out those who live in those more conservative states which would sooner gargle duck butter than legalize cannabis.

Okay. I may be confused. I thought it was the Ending [Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act of 2015]. But I guess it's actually the [Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act] of 2015.
