Oh snap! I know Devin. Laughing He's an awesome dude, really good performer too. I especially enjoy his solo shows, just him and a guitar.

Used to see him at Hope Farmer's Market when I lived down there, believe he also sharpens knives, as I remember.

Right on. Smallish world! I was wondering if he's a Nexite since he uses the term Hyperspace. I dig the bass-line, it's kinda post punk. And yes the interviewer said that he was taking a break from knife sharpening to speak.Smile

I don't usually promote this kind of thing but I did think the song is cute and think the video gives a good representation of the smoalked experience.

He said he eschewed psychedelic visuals due to a limited budget and I think that was a smart decision. His expressions and movements, the weird costumed actors, the darkness and the general feel of the video communicated being on DMT in a strangely effective manner, IMHO . Very happy

I wholeheartedly agree! I think if he sprayed the entire video with psychedelic visuals, it could have easily looked forced. I much prefer the subtlety of it for sure.

The music itself is pretty sweet too. It actually reminds me of "System of a Down" in parts. I'm listening to his live solo stuff now and its nice! He has quite an original thing going on for sure.

Thanks Null Smile
